I recently heard a straight pentecostal man laugh off Gay Christians, saying, "Don't their Bibles include the book of Romans?"
Of course our Bibles include the book of Romans -- but if we don't learn to understand it in the way that God intended for His people, our understanding of it will be just as spiritually superficial and destructive as this man's.
Personally, I want better than that. And I pray that you do too, because no one is saved and doing God's real work in this world if their heart-understanding of God's message to us isn't in the right place (how many times did Jesus tell us that?)
Go with us in this episode of Gay Bible Christians Audio, as we go line by line through Romans 1. We're going to talk about:
- Why selecting out a few words or lines of any Scripture, and ignoring a Scripture author's entire train of thought, can leave us believing and teaching the devil's message, instead of God's
- Who Paul is really talking about in Romans 1, and who should be worried by his message
- Ungodly judging versus godly discernment
- What God-rejection really looks like
- and more!
